Podcast app support
Learn how Huge’s features are supported in podcast listening apps.
Member feeds
A member feed is a custom RSS feed that can be manually added into a podcast app (rather than the podcast being found in the app via search).
Apps that support custom feeds
The following list is not a comprehensive list of apps that support custom feeds as there are so many on the market.
These apps all definitely allow users to add custom feeds:
- AntennaPod
- Apple Podcasts
- Breaker
- Castamatic
- Castbox
- Castos
- Downcast
- Google Podcasts
- Podcast Addict
- Overcast
If you want to add a missing podcast app to this list, please email [email protected].
Apps that don’t support custom feeds
Unfortunately, these apps do not allow adding custom feeds, so your members cannot use them for listening to your private audio content.
- Spotify
Post content
When writing posts with the Huge editor you may add formatting and different content elements like quotes, images or code blocks.
As this post content is used as show notes in podcast apps, it’s important to know how it will be displayed in the apps that your members are listening with.
Unlike browsers, which aim to display web content in the same way as each other, there is less standardisation in podcast apps today. This means that some apps support some content elements and some don’t.
If an app is not listed here, it hasn’t yet been tested.
